becomes the future

Overail is rooted in one of the most important Italian industrial companies in the production of concrete sleepers and other precast products.

In 2017, the Salcef Group acquired Vianini Industria S.r.l., the industrial branch of a company active since the nineteenth century and a historic supplier of the Ferrovie dello Stato Group. With this operation, Salcef took over the Aprilia plant, an industrial site that has produced concrete products for major infrastructure projects in Italy, from high-speed lines to metro lines, since the 1960s.

The acquisition was accompanied by a substantial investment plan, aimed at enhancing the know-how of the previous management through a decisive modernisation process. In just a few years the old Aprilia plant has been transformed into a modern industrial site with state-of-the-art facilities.

In 2019 Vianini Industria changed its name and became Overail. The company has its roots in tradition, and at the same time looks to the future, envisioning itself as a highly innovative production reality.
